Torque Products Canada

Migración ecommerce + redirects SEO

WordPressE-commerce301 RedirectsSEO

Overview

Torque Products Canada was a migration project from an existing e-commerce system. The priority was a stable launch, preserving SEO value, and ensuring the storefront worked correctly after the move. I helped build the site from the ground up with my team and lead developer, with special focus on 301 redirect mapping during the migration.

What I did

  • Participated in the rebuild and migration implementation (pages, structure, content).
  • Coordinated with peers and lead developer to ship a stable storefront.
  • Implemented and validated 301 redirects to preserve SEO equity after migration.
  • Supported launch QA: key flows, navigation, responsiveness, and content accuracy.

Goals

  • Launch without breaking purchasing/browsing experience.
  • Preserve SEO rankings and links through correct 301 redirects.
  • Keep the site fast, scannable, and easy to browse.

Notes

This case study can be expanded with redirect strategy notes, launch checklist, and before/after SEO metrics.
