Custom WordPress build with ACF + performance
Overview
Life Aligned Wellness needed a website that feels trustworthy and professional, with clear navigation and content that supports both marketing and education. I worked on the custom child theme implementation, content build-out, image optimization, and QA with the design team to meet the expected look and UX.
What I did
- Developed and maintained the site using a custom child theme.
- Built flexible ACF sections to make content updates easy for the team.
- Implemented pages and content following design requirements and QA feedback.
- Optimized images and improved overall site performance.
- Supported launch-quality checks (layout consistency, responsiveness, cross-browser testing).
Goals
- Make services and value proposition easy to understand quickly.
- Keep the site visually consistent with the brand and design system.
- Improve performance and page load experience.
Notes
Future improvements can include adding performance metrics, accessibility checks, and a content strategy for blog/category structure.
